Weekly sermon from Traders Church by Pastor Donna
Hello Traders Church Family and Friends,
It is a new time. Things are different and difficult right now. But the Church is vibrant and well. We as the church want to do the will of God and that is always to love Jesus, love people and love life.
God calls us to unique responses of love. What can we do in this situation?
Traders Church is going to an online format as well as meeting each week on Saturdays at 5pm. All sermons will be posted to our Facebook page and website, traderschurch.com and a YouTube channel Traders Church. Bible Study will be done on zoom.us. The meeting code is https://us04web.zoom.us/j/6214146992. We will meet Wednesday at 6pm.
Our goal is to stay connected with our church family. We need each other to walk the Christian life. I would encourage you to check on each other and to keep our faith without fear, by being in God’s word and daily seeking Him in prayer.
Social distancing and wearing masks right now is loving our neighbor as ourself. So I beg you to abide by the recommendations of the CDC. This is a powerful expression of love. Let’s help slow down this pandemic by doing all we can do. Stay in as much as possible and wash those hands.
As you might expect we still have to pay rent and other expenses that we have each month as a church. Besides that, we have had to pay for extra expenses to get online. So please don’t forget your giving. You can mail your tithes and offerings to 212 S. Joplin Ave. Suite A, Joplin, MO 64801 or you can give online by going to the web page and clicking on the PayPal tab at the bottom of the home page.
I love my church family and pray Psalm 91 over you each day. I am available by phone or FaceTime. I will stay in touch with all of you. If you need anything, I will do my best to help you. We are in this together, Loving Jesus, Loving people, Loving life.
P.S. We have re-opened. Social distancing is in place and masks are recommended.
